VideosMeet the NIST CSF and CIS CSC Strengths Analysis agents

Introduction

See the risk-reducing strength of your current framework implementation, in dollars. In minutes.

Bob Vescio, Chief Innovation Officer of X-Analytics, walks through two paired agents in the X-Analytics AI Toolbox: the NIST CSF Strengths Analysis and CIS CSC Strengths Analysis agents.

What it does

The Strengths Analysis agents are AI agents in the X-Analytics AI Toolbox that show the risk-reducing strength of your current framework implementation, in dollars. One agent covers NIST CSF 2.0. The other covers CIS CSC 8.1. Each gives you four ways to see your strength: an Implementation Report, a Category or Control Strength Analysis, a Sub-Category or Sub-Control Strength Analysis, and a Divestment Tool.

You start with the framework you want to look at. The agent returns the implementation values across every function, category, and subcategory (or control and sub-control), and the dollars of risk already reduced by that work, in minutes.

How it works

You open the agent and pick the analysis path:

  • Implementation Report: a clear view of your current implementation or maturity values across every function, category, and subcategory.
  • Category / Control Strength Analysis: dollars of risk already reduced by your current implementation at the function and category (or control) level, paired with the remaining risk-reducing opportunity.
  • Sub-Category / Sub-Control Strength Analysis: line-by-line strength at the deepest level of the framework.
  • Divestment Tool: an interactive Metric Card. Pull back the implementation slider on any function or category and see the dollars of risk reintroduced to your profile.

Strength values and remaining-opportunity values are paired throughout, so you can read your current position and your runway in the same view.

What you walk away with

  • A defensible dollar number on the framework work your team has already done.
  • ROI inputs for every function and category, paired with your implementation cost.
  • A clear view of where divestment is the smartest play, and where it would be the most expensive.
  • Two parallel agents that speak the same dollar language across NIST CSF 2.0 and CIS CSC 8.1.

Frequently asked questions

What is X-Analytics?

X-Analytics helps cybersecurity and risk leaders walk into every cyber and AI decision with answers in hand: measurable risk-reducing opportunities, delivered in minutes.

The X-Analytics platform is the Cyber Risk Intelligence Engine that CISOs, executives, boards, and the risk management industry rely on to align cybersecurity and AI strategy with the business priorities that matter most.

What are the X-Analytics Strengths Analysis agents?

Two paired AI agents in the X-Analytics AI Toolbox. The NIST CSF Strengths Analysis agent covers NIST CSF 2.0. The CIS CSC Strengths Analysis agent covers CIS CSC 8.1. Both return the dollars of risk already reduced by your current implementation, with a divestment view for budget pressure.

What is a Strength Analysis in X-Analytics?

A strength analysis is the dollar value of risk your current framework implementation has already reduced. Paired with the remaining risk-reducing opportunity, it gives a clear read on the return on the work your team has already done.

What is the Divestment Tool?

An interactive Metric Card inside the Strengths Analysis agents. You select a function or category, pull the implementation slider back, and see the dollars of risk reintroduced to your profile. Useful when cyber budgets are under pressure and you need divestment decisions you can defend.

The video above walks through the NIST CSF Category Strength Analysis and the NIST CSF Divestment Tool with live values, including how the divestment slider shifts dollars of risk in real time. The CIS CSC Strengths Analysis agent runs the same way against CIS CSC 8.1.

What used to take weeks, X-Analytics delivers in minutes.
